What is the healthy average baby weight by month? share your experience with us

Weight is a key indicator of your baby good nutrition and physical development. It  be helpful to know about babies’ healthy average weight month by month. If your baby’s weight is in a lower percentile, this does not necessarily sign of a problem with their growth &  physical development. According to the WHO, the healthy average birth weight of a male baby is about 3.3 kilograms (KG), while the healthy average birth weight of a female is about 3.2 kg. kindly note that at delivery, doctors highlights that a low birth weight to be less than about 2.5 kg. professionals also add  that it is common for babies to lose about 10% of their weight shortly after birth. This decrease is due to fluid loss and most of the babies gain back this weight within 1 week. In addition, the healthy average weight of a baby born at 37–40 weeks ranges from 2.5 to 4 kg.
